Cameras that cover what you actually care about

Most homeowners who call about cameras already have one or two battery units stuck to the eaves. They miss motion, they need charging, and the Wi-Fi drops right when something happens at the driveway. A hardwired system fixes all three: every camera gets power and data over a single cable, and footage records to a recorder inside the house.

Peak Power Electric plans, wires and installs residential camera systems across Lakeside and East County. Because we are electricians, the cable runs are hidden properly, the recorder gets a dedicated circuit and surge protection, and the system can stay up on standby power during an outage.

What usually brings people here

  • Battery cameras that die, lag or lose Wi-Fi
  • Packages going missing from the porch
  • A detached garage, shop or gate that is out of sight
  • A rural property where the driveway is a long way from the house
  • Wanting to check on the house from your phone while away

How we plan the system

We walk the property with you and mark the views that matter: entries, the driveway, side yards, the gate. Each camera position is chosen for a clear view at night, not just a convenient place to mount it. From there we plan the cable routes through the attic or crawl space so nothing is stapled across the siding.

What the install includes

  • PoE cameras rated for outdoor use, matched to each view
  • Concealed Cat6 runs to a central network video recorder
  • A dedicated outlet and surge protection for the recorder
  • Phone app setup and a walkthrough before we leave

Doing it with other work

Camera wiring is easiest when it is planned alongside other projects. If we are already in the attic for exterior lighting or running cable for home networking, adding camera runs costs far less than a separate visit later.

Getting started

Tell us roughly how many areas you want covered and whether you have existing cameras. We will give you a clear quote for the system and the wiring before any work starts.
