Low-Voltage & Smart Home

The other half of the wiring in a modern home

Power is only part of what runs through a house now. Cameras, TVs, speakers, Wi-Fi and smart devices all ride on low-voltage cable, and when that cable is an afterthought you end up with battery cameras, cords along the baseboard and dead zones in half the rooms.

Because we are licensed electricians who also do low-voltage work, we plan both together. The camera recorder gets a dedicated circuit, the TV gets in-wall power, and the network panel sits on surge protection and, if you have one, your standby generator.

What this covers

Why one crew matters

On most homes, low-voltage work gets split between a security company, an AV installer and whoever set up the internet. Each one drills their own holes and nobody owns the whole picture. Handling it as one scope means fewer penetrations, cleaner runs and one number to call when something needs to change.

Best time to do it

Any project that opens walls or puts us in the attic, such as a rewire, a remodel, new exterior lighting or a panel upgrade, is the right moment to pull low-voltage cable too. Running it then costs far less than coming back later.

FAQ

Common Questions

We are a licensed residential electrical contractor. That covers electrical repairs and troubleshooting, panel and service upgrades, rewiring, standby generators, exterior and interior lighting, EV chargers, and low-voltage work like security cameras, home audio and video, and network wiring.

Yes. We provide a written quote that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and price before any work begins.

Yes. We install home EV chargers and are an authorized Generac dealer for whole-home standby generators. Both start with a look at your panel so the new load is planned properly.

Yes. We install hardwired security camera systems, run Cat6 network cable and wired access points, and set up home audio and video. Because we are electricians, the recorder and network gear get proper power and surge protection, and everything can stay up on your generator during an outage.

When a permit is required by the local jurisdiction, we pull it under the company license and coordinate the inspection process through completion.

Yes. We regularly diagnose electrical issues and focus on finding the root cause so the repair is targeted and effective.

We serve Lakeside and much of San Diego County, including surrounding communities such as El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa, San Diego, Poway, Ramona, Alpine, and others.

Yes. We focus on residential work: single-family homes, condos, townhomes and rental properties. That focus is why our crews know the older East County housing stock, its panels and its wiring so well.

Anything on the wire in a home: a single new circuit, a panel upgrade, a whole-home generator, a lit exterior, or a camera and network system. Projects that combine more than one of these are where a single licensed crew saves you the most.
